Analise Cowie is a Senior Solicitor at Checketts McKay Law and a key member of the firm’s property development and subdivision team and the firm’s broader property law team. Based in the Cromwell office, Analise works with developers, landowners and rural clients across Central Otago on a wide range of property and commercial matters.
Analise is closely involved in the firm’s subdivision and property development projects, working alongside Director Fraser Sinclair and Senior Associate Aaron Dykes on a number of significant land development projects across the region. Her work includes advising on development due diligence, reviewing property development documentation and assisting with the legal processes required to deliver subdivision developments.
Alongside development work, Analise advises clients on residential and rural property transactions, commercial leasing and private client matters. She regularly assists landowners, investors and rural clients with property acquisitions, sales and structuring matters.
Analise grew up on a high-country station in Otago and brings a practical understanding of rural property and land use issues to her work. Her background allows her to relate easily to rural clients and understand the commercial realities affecting landowners and agribusinesses.
Before joining Checketts McKay Law, Analise practised in Dunedin where she gained experience advising clients on property and private client matters across a broad range of transactions.
