Paige Devereux is an Associate at Checketts McKay Law and focuses on commercial property, business law and private client matters. Based in Wanaka, Paige advises property investors, landlords, business owners and individuals across the Wanaka and Upper Clutha region.

Paige began her legal career in Auckland and gained significant experience working in commercial property teams at leading firms before relocating to Central Otago. During this time she worked on a wide range of commercial property matters including high-value acquisitions, property syndications, leasing arrangements and complex commercial transactions.

Her experience includes advising on commercial property acquisitions and disposals, negotiating commercial contracts, structuring property ownership arrangements and assisting clients with financing documentation and due diligence processes.

Paige regularly advises landlords, tenants and property investors on commercial leasing matters including new leases, variations, renewals and rent reviews. She has a strong technical understanding of commercial leasing frameworks.

Alongside her commercial property work, Paige assists clients with business sales and purchases, residential property transactions and estate planning matters including wills, trusts and enduring powers of attorney. She works closely with clients to understand their objectives and provide clear, practical advice that supports both their immediate transactions and long-term planning.
