Nick Slegers is a Solicitor at Checketts McKay Law and a member of the firm’s Commercial and Property teams. He is developing a broad practice advising individuals, families and businesses across Central Otago on a range of legal matters.

Nick assists clients with residential and commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases and related property matters. He also supports clients on business and commercial matters, including business sales and purchases, and provides assistance on a range of commercial transactions.

In addition, Nick has experience advising on wills, trusts and estate planning. He works with clients to help structure their affairs clearly and ensure their assets are managed and protected for the future.

Since joining the firm as a graduate, Nick has quickly built a strong foundation across property, commercial and private client work. He is gaining experience across a wide range of transactions and is developing into a well-rounded adviser within the firm.

Nick is known for his calm, thoughtful and analytical approach. He takes care to understand his clients’ objectives and provides clear, practical advice to support them through each stage of a transaction or matter.
